Catch Thirtythree is the fifth studio album by Swedish metal band Meshuggah, originally released in May 2005 via Nuclear Blast.

Meshuggah is a Swedish extreme metal band from Umeå, formed in 1987. The bands current line-up consists of founding members, lead vocalist Jens Kidman and lead guitarist Fredrik Thordendal, drummer Tomas Haake (since 1990), rhythm guitarist Mårten Hagström (since 1993) and bassist Dick Lövgren (since 2004). Meshuggah has become known for their innovative musical style, complex, polymetered song structures and polyrhythms, and have risen to fame as a significant act in extreme underground music, an influence for modern metal bands. The band was labelled as one of the ten most important hard rock and heavy metal bands by Rolling Stone magazine.

Although Catch Thirtythree is printed as a full-length album with thirteen songs, it is actually a single continuous suite. The band themselves have said that even though it is a full-length release, it is still considered to be an experimental piece and not quite a bona-fide album. The musical direction is consistent with the evolution carried on from their studio album Nothing (2002) and the EP I (2004), utilizing heavy and textured grooves, leaving most of the thrash elements behind. The album does, however, contain elements of the band's previously utilized jazz fusion elements.

Lyrically, the album is a concept album, revolving around different kinds of paradoxes, hence the title Catch Thirtythree.

This is also the first full Meshuggah album where the drums were programmed rather than performed by drummer Tomas Haake. They are created using "Drumkit from Hell", a software synthesizer that uses Haake's drums and cymbals as samples.

The band released a music video for the song "Shed", which featured on the Saw III soundtrack.

This double album 2LP record set is a 2019 reissue on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records.
