Louis Tomlinson - Walls

Walls is the debut studio album by English singer songwriter Louis Tomlinson, released in January 2020 via Syco Music.

Louis Tomlinson began his career as an actor, and commenced his musical career when he auditioned as a solo contestant on the UK TV series The X Factor. After being eliminated early in the show he was bought back to form a boy band One Direction, from which point his musical career took off. After One Direction went on hiatus in 2016, he has pursued a solo career.

His solo album Walls has been met with mixed reviews and has reached #4 on the UK, #9 on the US Billboard 200 and #6 on the Australian albums charts.

Five singles have been released from the album: "Two of Us", "Kill My Mind", "We Made It", "Don't Let It Break Your Heart" and "Walls".

In an interview with BBC Music, Tomlinson talked about the inspiration for his debut album: “…My whole mission with this album is to not write these Hollywood-esque songs that talk about some unfathomable crazy love story. I'm so bored of that... Because I'm from up north, I grew up loving the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and Oasis. And the way they tell stories is such an effortless thing. It's real, it's honest and it's to the point, you know? Now, any of the Arctic Monkeys would be devastated to hear me talking like this, but there is a way of incorporating that conversational honesty into pop…”

This album is a limited edition on red coloured vinyl with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via Syco Music.
