Animal Serenade is a live album by American musician Lou Reed, originally released in March 2004 via Sire Records and Reprise Records.

The album was recorded in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theatre in June 2003.

The show features a drummer-less band but includes Mike Rathke on guitar/synth, bassist, vocalist Fernando Saunders, and the cello of Jane Scarpantoni. Reed delivers dramatic readings of some of his most compelling work.

In addition Anohni of Antony and the Johnsons fame, contributes background vocals throughout and sings the lead on "Set The Twilight Reeling" and "Candy Says."

Animal Serenade was produced by Lou Reed and Fernando Saunders.

This limited Record Store Day 2018 triple 3LP record is on black vinyl housed in a tri fold sleeve with printed inner sleeves, released on vinyl for the first time in April 2018 and is limited to 7500 copies.
