40 is a compilation album by British-American rock band Foreigner, released in June 2017 via Atlantic Records.

Released as a celebration of Foreigner's 40th birthday - its title and album were designed to evoke memories of 1981’s 4 the band's biggest album.

40 is an edited version of the 40 song CD release: offering 23 songs cherry picked from throughout the group's career, along with a new recording ("I Don't Want To Live Without You").

Among these songs are some relative rarities from 2011 "The Flame Still Burns", and a live version of "Starrider" and acoustic version of "Say You Will", along with some deep cuts.

Still, the focus here - like it is on any Foreigner compilation - are on the big radio hits: "Feels Like The First Time", "Hot Blooded", "Double Vision", "Dirty White Boy", "Urgent", and "Reaction To Action", all in radio edits. These form the heart of Foreigner’s legacy, and they sound as good here as they ever have.
