Alternate Mirage is a compilation album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in April 2017 by Warner Bros. Records.

Fleetwood Mac retreated from the insular strangeness of Tusk and returned to straightforward pop songcraft for Mirage. On Mirage, Lindsey Buckingham once again reaches into his magic bag of production tricks and pulled out an elusive gem of a Fleetwood Mac record.

Mirage, like most from the band, was full of terrific songs, notably the hit singles "Gypsy", "Love In Store", and "Hold Me". Fleetwood Mac have never pretended to be heavy thinkers, they’re a vocal group with a beat, and don't scrimp on harmonies. Mirage sounds great in the morning and fine over a sunset with wine.

Alternate Mirage was produced exclusively for the 2017 Record Store Day and is an album of alternate takes from the Mirage Deluxe edition, originally released in 2016. The album includes the early versions of Mirage favorites "Gypsy", "Hold On" and "Oh Diane". Previously released only on CD, this is its first release on vinyl. (Limited worldwide release of 6500.)
