DMA's - The Glow

The Glow is the third studio album by Australian rock band DMA’S, released in July 2020 via Infectious.

DMA'S is a three-piece Australian rock band formed in 2012 in Sydney, Australia. The band is composed of Matt Mason, Tommy O'Dell, and Johnny Took. They gained popularity for their debut single "Delete" and for their self-titled EP released in 2014. Their musical sound has led to comparisons to the band Oasis.

The Glow is a contemporary pop record that sees DMA’s fulfil their world class potential with a collection of songs that are destined for arenas.

From their emotive heart to their towering, anthemic hooks, the core traits that have earned the band a growing global following are all in place.

But with the help of producer Stuart Price (The Killers, New Order, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys), DMA’s have elevated both sides of their sonic spectrum to new heights and one thing is certain: this is the most fully realised of the band’s three albums to date.

The first single from the album “Silver” is the band’s fastest streaming song to date, and came in at #20 in triple j’s hottest 100 of 2019. The second single “Life Is A Game Of Changing” scored ‘Record Of The Week’ on the UK’s Radio X.

Three further singles have been released from the album: “The Glow”, “Learning Alive” and “Criminals”.

Guitarist Johnny Took has said of the album in an interview with NME: "…it's about how people are always looking for something better. It's got that universal sense that anyone can relate to, that exhaustion you sometimes feel trying to achieve more or be something more..."

This album is on 180 gram black vinyl, pressed in Australia via Infectious.
