Coldplay - Everyday Life

Everyday Life is the eighth studio album by British rock band Coldplay, released in November 2019 via Parlophone Records in Europe and Third Man Records in the US.

Coldplay formed in London in 1996 comprising Chris Martin (vocals, piano), Jonny Buckland (guitars), Guy Berryman (bass) and Will Champion (drums).

This album was produced by The Dream Team, which comprised Rik Simpson, Dan Green and Bill Rahko, and is divided into two halves, “Sunrise” and “Sunset”.

The new album sees Coldplay experiment with different sounds, including world and gospel music influences, which make this a refreshing change from the pop sensibilities of A Head Full of Dreams (2015).

The album flows cohesively together from start to finish and has a very organic feel to it. Stand out tracks for “The Captain” after a first listen are “Church”, “Trouble In Town”, “Orphans” and the piano driven piece “Bani Adam بنی آدم”.

The new album has received generally positive reviews since its release.

This double album is on 180 gram heavyweight black vinyl housed in a silver and gold foil single sleeve with printed inner sleeves, printed lyric book and digital download code, pressed in Europe via Parlophone Records.
