Chris Wilson is the final studio album by Australian blues musician Chris Wilson, released in February 2020 via Cheersquad Records.

This album is something really special. Chris Wilson sadly passed away to cancer early last year (2019) and recorded this final album during the previous year in April 2018, selling CD copies to friends and fans at shows.

Wilson should need no introduction.

One of Australia's most dynamic performers, his sound was rooted in the blues though he dabbled in a variety of rock / roots music over a 40-year period, in bands such as Harem Scarem, Crown Of Thorns, Paul Kelly & The Coloured Girls. He also had and a successful solo career.

The new self titled album Chris Wilson is raw and fearless, a wonderful send-off to the great man. The album comprises some original material written by Wilson plus some covers, including a very unique rendition of “Who Do You Love?”. Wilson arranged and played all the instruments on the album.

This limited edition LP record is on 180 gram heavyweight black vinyl with a printed insert and digital download code, pressed in Australia.
