Brian Cadd is the debut studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Brian Cadd, originally released in November 1972 via Bootleg Records.

Brian Cadd was raised in Perth and is a singer-songwriters, keyboard player, music producer, record label founder (Bootleg Records), and a member of bands The Groop, Axiom, Flying Burrito Brothers, as well as a successful solo artist.

“Ginger Man” was the first single released from his debut solo album, and raced up the charts peaking at #16 in Australia. This has become a signature song for him and propelled the album to #3 on the albums charts.

The album was recorded at legendary Bill Armstrong’s studios in South Melbourne and musicians who played on the album included blues band Chain members Barry ‘Big Goose’ Sullivan (bass) and Phil Manning (guitars), and The Seekers founding member Bruce Woodley (acoustic guitar). Other notable musicians on the album were Geoff Cox (drums), Billy Green (guitars), Gary Hyde (percussion) and Graham Lyall (woodwind).

This album has been reissued on vinyl for the first time since the early 1970s for Record Store Day in 2018.
