Beck - Morning Phase

Morning Phase is the ninth studio album  by American singer-songwriter Beck, released in February 2014 via Capitol Records.

This was the first album released with Capitol Records after Beck signed a new recording contract and is a companion piece to his 2002 album Sea Change. A number of the musicians who played on the Sea Change album returned to record Morning Phase.

The album was produced by Beck and recorded at various locations, including some sessions at the Third Man Records studios. The first single Blue Moon was released in January 2014 followed by a further three singles, Waking Light, Say Goodbye and Heart is a Drum.

The album was released to critical acclaim and was listed on several year-end best albums of 2014 lists, including Mojo magazine, that ranked Morning Phase as #1 on it's Top 50 Albums of 2014 listing.

The album reached #3 on the US Billboard 200 Albums chart, #4 on the UK and #5 on the Australian Albums charts.

This album is on 180 gram black vinyl with a printed insert, pressed in Europe via Capitol Records.
