Ta-Dah is the second studio album by American pop rock band Scissor Sisters, released in September 2006 via Polydor Records in the UK and Interscope Records in the US.

Formed in 2001, Scissor Sisters include Jake Shears and Ana Matronic as vocalists, Babydaddy as a multi-instrumentalist, Del Marquis as lead guitar/bassist, and Randy Real as the drummer. Often incorporating diverse and innovative styles in their music, but tending towards pop rock, glam rock, nu-disco, and electroclash, Scissor Sisters came to prominence following the release of their Grammy-nominated and chart-topping disco version of the Pink Floyd classic song "Comfortably Numb".

Following on from their successful debut self titled album and EP Remixed! the Scissor Sisters released the first single from their forthcoming album in July 2006, I Don't Feel Like Dancin', which went to the top of both the UK and Australian Singles charts. The song kicks off with an ifectious piano riff played by Elton John who also co-wrote the song with the band, becoming their biggest and most successful single to date.

"With him on piano and me on guitar we messed around and recorded the basis for 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin'. It was amazingly quick to work with him, a very immediate process. Music is coming out of him all the time.... I Don't Feel Like Dancin' was very important to us, because we really wanted to have a breakdance song on the album, and once we had it, we felt like 'Now the ballads and the straight-up rock tracks also have a reason to be there." -Babydaddy, aka Scott Hoffman in interview with Paul Tingen of SoundOnSound.

The album Ta-Dah was produced by the band and features collaborations with Elton John (on two songs), Carlos AlomarPaul Williams and more.  The album was originally christened Discoball Jazzfest due to the varying influences they were planning to incorporate.  It was while working with Elton John that the hit single was written.

The album peaked at #1 on the UK, Irish and Australian Albums charts, and became their most successful charting album in the US up to that point, reaching #19 on the Billboard 200.

Check out the singles from the album.  I Don't Feel Like Dancin', Land Of A Thousand Words, She's My Man and Kiss You Off.
