Beatin' The Odds is the third studio album by American southern rock band Molly Hatchet, released in September 1980 by Epic Records.

This is the first album with new vocalist Jimmy Farrar, who replaced Danny Joe Brown. Molly Hatchet are one of those bands that stick to their sound, and you know what to expect, some nimble riffery and the same raw-edged, no frills southern boogie.

The title track Beatin’ The Odds kicks the album off with a good ol' rockin' start, followed up by the solid Double Talker. The amazing The Rambler follows, with its stunning vocals is one of the Hatchet best tracks.

Beatin’ The Odds received mixed reviews by the critics, but was well received where it counts, by the band’s fan base.

This LP on 180 Gram heavyweight vinyl was released in 2013 and pressed in Europe.
