Sunday 8PM is the second studio album by British electronica band Faithless, released in September 1998 via Cheeky Records.

About the Band:

Faithless are a British electronica band consisting of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo (Armstrong).

The band was formed in early 1995, and their debut single "Salva Mea (Save Me)" was released in July that year.  Jazz acted as a vocalist, whilst Bliss constructed most of the music herself electronically, but also played the piano, violin, saxophone and bass guitar.  Rollo heads and produces the band.  Lead female vocals for many of their songs are performed by Pauline Taylor, who also performed lead vocals for singles by Rollo released under his monikers Rollo Goes Mystic and Rollo Goes Spiritual.

About the Album:

"God Is A DJ" - need we say more? On Sunday 8PM, Maxi Jazz's reverent flow managed to produce "God Is A DJ", not just a dance anthem, but a hymn of majestic proportions.

Good for Saturday nights as well as Sunday evenings, Maxi Jazz, Rollo and Sister Bliss are the holy trinity at the centre of the U.K. electronic Dance collective Faithless. Catapulted to fame by their 1996 banger "Insomnia", the group went on to play almost every stage, club and festival known to man. Twice.

The audience at the Dutch festival Pinkpop went so wild to the song "God Is A DJ" that the band decided to use live footage of the concert in their video, a plea for togetherness devoid of false sentiment and schmaltz.

Sunday 8PM is a prime example of Dance music at the peak of its popularity, but don't let nostalgia fool you; this album still stands today even in one of the most changing and evolving music genres we know.

The album contains the two additional hit singles "Bring My Family Back" and "Take The Long Way Home".

The image on the Album Cover is the historic Bluebird Theatre in Denver, Colorado United States, currently used as a live music venue.

The album reached #10 place in the UK charts.

This is a Music On Vinyl Double Album 2LP Records on 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Reissue, pressed in Europe.
